There is nothing like breathing underwater for the very first time, especially in the beautiful surroundings off Mozambique and South Africa. It can take a little getting used to because as a general rule as we’re not really designed to be there. But after a few minutes of awestruck wonder, most participants realize how easy scuba diving really is.

The biggest challenge instructors have with the PADI Discover Scuba Diving program is not coaxing participants into the water, but coaxing them out when the program is over. The fun part? It’s all fun! What you learn….. You learn the basics you need to dive under the direct supervision of a PADI Professional. One thing you’ll learn is that you really can breathe underwater and it is easy to move around down there while wearing all the scuba equipment. .

We offer scuba diver courses from the novice to instructor level and speciality courses.

COURSES

DISCOVER SCUBA COURSE (RESORT COURSE)

Cost: $110 / 6400 mts per person

Includes:

• Theoretical introduction to equipment and using of equipment during dive

• Hiring of all dive gear for duration of the course

• Swimming pool session

• Boat/sea dive

No certification, but can count towards an Open Water One course. Person will be allowed to dive with Gozo Azul whilst in Ponta do Ouro, but has to dive with an instructor and no dives deeper than 12 meters will be allowed. Extra rates will apply if Discover scuba diver wants to do more open ocean dives with Gozo Azul and our instructors.

OPEN WATER ONE COURSE

Cost: $360 / 21 600 mts per person

Includes:

• Training material

• Theory sessions with a highly skilled instructor

• Swimming pool session where skills are done and exercised before going to the ocean.

• Hiring of all dive gear for duration of course

• Documentation and registration

• Four boat/sea dives

ADVANCED OPEN WATER COURSE

Cost: $425 / 25 400 mts per person

Includes:

• Training material

• Theory sessions with a highly skilled instructor

• 5 adventure dives of which 2 adventure dives are required, deep adventure and navigation adventure. Other 3 adventure dives can be chosen within the scope of if the type of adventure dive is available in our dive area

• Hiring of all dive gear for duration of course

• Documentation and registration
