Ponta do Ouro is fortunate to have one of the top 8 shark diving destinations in the world just off its coastline.
Pinnacles is a stunning dive site, and has over the years been the place to see some of the most beautiful sharks up close. These amazing creatures are a threatened species, and we would love to share our passion for them with you, and help to raise awareness of their plight.
During the months of October to May frequently seen are Bull/Zambezi sharks, Hammerheads, Silver tips, Dusky, Black tips and Leopard sharks. 19 species of sharks have been sighted there over the years.
Its approx. 3.5km away by boat and sitting at 32m and dropping off to 50m Pinnacles is for the advanced open water diver and above.
After dropping down and exploring the depths of 30-40m below you will begin a slow ascent and cruise through the big blue waiting to see what appears.
